Signaic in Slack
Post alerts and The Orbital Brief to a Slack channel.
Before you start
A Slack workspace where you can create an app, or where an admin approves it. In Signaic, a workspace owner or admin adds the channel.
Set it up
Step 1: In Slack's app settings at api.slack.com/apps, select Create New App, choose From scratch, name it Signaic and pick your workspace.
Step 2: Open Incoming Webhooks, turn on Activate Incoming Webhooks and select Add New Webhook to Workspace.
Step 3: Choose the channel, select Allow and copy the webhook address.
Step 4: In Signaic, open Settings, Connections and paste the webhook address into the Slack card.
Step 5: Choose whether to post alerts, The Orbital Brief or both, then select Send test message.
Signing in
No separate sign-in: the address you paste is the channel's own webhook, and only owners and admins of your Signaic workspace can add or remove it.
